Dahab is subject to steady running winds for at least 270 days a year, ideal for surfers. The Laguna offers a wealth of space to surfers, where no scuba divers go. The beach here is white and there is no coral, making it the choice location for kite surfers. From the centre, more experienced wind surfers can also enter the open water.

The Laguna features plenty of places where you can rent surfing apparel, enrol in surfing lessons, or perhaps even enter the competitions that take place regularly. From Dahab's village centre you can conveniently reach the Laguna by taxi; it will take you about ten minutes and merely a modest amount of Egyptian pounds to reach this beautiful beach with azure blue sea.
