VISA - You can buy a visa upon arrival at either Sharm el-Sheikhor Taba Airport. Should you, however, intend to stay within the Sinai region and for no longer than two weeks, a (free-of-charge) "Sinai Only" visa stamp can be obtained upon arrival from airport customs.
DRESS CODE - In Dahab topless sunbathing is not common, nor is it advisable; Egyptians in tourist hotspots like these will be more used to seeing Western dress than the average Arab, so it isn't necessary to keep arms and legs covered by clothing, but anything all too revealing is not recommended.
ALCOHOL - Alcoholic beverages are not available at all restaurants; many will, however, allow you to bring your own.
TOBACCO - Cigarettes are cheaper to buy in Egypt itself than taxfree at the airports. However, not all brands will be commonly available.
CASH - Egyptian pounds can be withdrawn from various ATMs; however, as these may occasionally be out of order, it is advisable to bringsome cash with you; foreign currency exchange is available at many locations.
